Ms. Elissa Biagi earned her Master’s degree in Psychology from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York. She is now completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Medaille College, while completing her Doctoral Psychology Internship at West Niagara Psychology Centre under the clinical supervision of Dr. Michelle Lohnes and Dr. Anna Pignol. Ms. Biagi previously completed a Bachelor of Arts Honors Specialization in Psychology and a Minor in Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University in London, Ontario.
Ms. Biagi provides assessment and intervention to children and young adults presenting with a wide range of issues, including anxiety and mood disorders, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), emotional regulation and anger management, as well as bullying and self-esteem issues.
Over the past 5 years, Ms. Biagi has held clinical positions at Pathstone Mental Health, in Thorold, Ontario and Medaille Family Counselling Center (MFCC) in Buffalo, New York. Ms. Biagi has also worked as a research assistant at the Regional Rehabilitation Centre in Hamilton, Ontario as well as held volunteer positions at pediatric rehabilitation centres including Blue Balloon Child Health Services in Burlington, Ontario.
Ms. Biagi is in the process of completing her credentials for licensure. Her clinical services are regulated by the College of Psychologists of Ontario through her clinical supervision.
NEW: Given the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to providing in person appointments, we are providing psychology services online using a secure internet-based video program as well as by phone. We currently have no waitlist as we have expanded our hours to accommodate the increased demand in Mental Health Services.
